The Village of Deposit is celebrating its 200th Birthday. A Village wide party is being held Aug 13-14. Locals are dressing in the clothing from the 1800s feel free to wear your costume too! A historic tour in a tractor driver haywagon might open your eyes to the importance of the lumberjack, a parade, fireworks, vendors, music, a Victorian tea party and fashion show, The State Theater selling those old fashioned candy favorites and be sure to bring your camera to capture the beauty of the tall pines along the bank of the Delaware River. Oh! and dont forget to bring that fishing pole.
